About Dan Paragon:

Dan received his theatrical training from Ms. Stella Adler, George Morrison and Gene Feist, co-founder of the Roundabout Theatre Company in New York.  His classical and Shakespeare training was under the direction of Anthony Naylor and John Basil. His On-Camera experience was obtained through Weist-Barron Hill School of TV. Dan has acted in many stage productions on both coasts and regionally. Some notable roles include Stanley in A Streetcar named Desire, Mozart in Amadeus, Quince in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Butch in A Chorus Line. Dan’s recent theatrical film actor roles include work on the psychological thrilled 13 from writer/director Gela Babluani.

Dan is featured as a gambler acting alongside Jason Statham. Other notable roles include work on director David Lynch’s film Mulholland Drive. Other projects have included Old Dogs, Green Mile, Cradle Will Rock, Eraser, Sleepers and Night and the City. Dan can be seen on stage at present in the New York City production of Tony and Tina's Wedding playing the role of Nunzio, Tony’s father.

He is also a versatile writer and comedic actor having worked with several improvisational groups both in Los Angeles and New York City.


Dan recently appeared in a showcase production of the award winning play   Angels in America as Roy Cohen, with the Complete Theatre Company at the Richmond Shepard Theatre in New York City.

Another notable recent appearance on stage was as the male lead in the one act play  called 'Suicide Lover' which ran at the 'Theatre at St. Clements', where he portrayed Senator Jenkins, a Republican Presidential candidate being blackmailed by a beautiful Muslim girlfriend who has since become radicalized with ties to a terrorist organization. 

Dan is presently working with his Acting coach of the past five years Writer director Bob McAndrew. Bob will be directing Dan's one man play "Special Eddies" my life in Education. Mr. McAndrew is the former head of talent at 20th Century Fox and Paramont studios, he has coached Academy award winners Christopher Walken, Chris Cooper and Richard Dreyfuss.
